The terms and conditions governing your use of the Shikho platform.
By creating an account on or using the Shikho platform (accessible at getshikho.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms on your behalf.
Shikho is an online learning platform that provides access to live classes, recorded educational content, practice quizzes, and doubt-solving services for students in Bangladesh. The platform is operated by Shikho, with offices at 28 Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka 1205, Bangladesh.
You must create an account to access most platform features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at [email protected].
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update that information if it changes. Shikho reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false information.
You agree to use Shikho only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:
All content on the Shikho platform, including videos, course materials, quiz questions, and platform design, is the intellectual property of Shikho or its licensed content providers. Your use of the platform does not grant you any ownership rights over this content.
You may access and use content for your personal educational purposes. Any other use, including sharing with third parties or commercial use, requires prior written permission.
Certain courses and features on Shikho require payment. All fees are stated in Bangladesh Taka (BDT) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely by third-party payment providers.
Refund requests for paid courses may be submitted within 7 days of purchase if less than 20% of the course content has been accessed. Requests after this window or for heavily accessed courses will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.
Content provided by educators on the platform represents the views and knowledge of those educators. Shikho reviews educator qualifications and course quality but does not guarantee that any specific learning outcome will be achieved. Academic results depend on individual student effort and preparation.
Shikho aims to maintain continuous platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect platform access. We will provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance where possible.
Shikho may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Upon termination, your access to paid content will cease, and refunds will be provided only where required under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in Bangladesh, Shikho shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Shikho in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
